Human Resources Manager

The healthcare studio is seeking a Project Manager to lead and orchestrate design, production and client relationships. Position:

Maintains and enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs and practices.  Champions an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee retention and development.  A generalist, is skilled in the spectrum of tasks that come under human relations.  Four years related work experience as well as Bachelor degree and/or professional certification in HR is required.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist in recruitment
  • Perform new employee orientation and employee termination, conducting exit process and interview
  • Main contact for any employee grievance
  • Coordinate employee reviews
  • Implement continuing education programs and track benchmarks and associated costs

Benefits Administration:

  • Involved in annual review of health benefits renewal
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment for health benefits
  • Assist employees with any health-benefit-related issues
  • Assist employees in applying for SDI, STD, LTD, family leave

Procedural:

  • Interpret and enforce policies within the corporate employee manual
  • Prepare, update and recommend human resource policies and procedures
  • Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations and maintaining records;
  • Maintain historical human resource records
  • Maintain and update as needed job requirement and job descriptions for all positions
  • Monitor employee pay classifications

General:

  • Assist employees in H1-B applications
  • Develop and maintain a human resources information system
  • Monitor and promote participation in the firm’s profit sharing/401K pan
  • Encourage/promote firm participation in local community
  • Assist/plan company events or functions that unify/promote goodwill, bond staff, and promote the firm externally
  • Research trends in compensation and benefits within the industry and region
  • Foster health and safety of workforce
