IT and BIM Support Specialist

This position will support and report to the firm’s Information Technology and Design Applications group.


Serving as the firm’s IT/BIM “Help Desk” responsibilities include: furnishing both hardware and software (BIM/AutoCAD) assistance to staff; personal computer setup and relocation; network support to include backup in case of server emergencies.  Other duties may be assigned as required.


Qualifications:

·        Familiarity with the architectural/ engineering design/drafting field.

·        Direct experience with Autodesk Revit and Autodesk AutoCAD.

·        Knowledge of typical office software programs, such as Microsoft Office suite.

·        Experience with basic computer network architecture, as well as familiarity with server, backup and PC hardware.

·        Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to be patient, articulate, and understanding in the role of “help desk” support to staff is essential.

·        Flexibility to adjust hours due to system requirements such as outages or installations is a plus.

·        The candidate should be dedicated and prepared to offer Ratcliff longevity in the role.

·        Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
