Emeryville, Calif. – Sandra Butchart-Fiorillo, AIA, CID, licensed
architect and interior designer certified in California and with 25 years’
experience including healthcare programming, design and construction, has
joined RATCLIFF, architects serving healthcare, academic, and civic
clients throughout Northern California.
“Sandra is a highly technical architect who has proven
her capabilities with many significant healthcare systems in California,” said
Peter Tsugawa, healthcare principal with RATCLIFF. “Ratcliff is fortunate to be providing
services for many of these same healthcare clients, and we are proud to offer
our clients the competence and knowledge she possesses.” Her initial role is project architect on a
complex expansion for Northbay Medical Center in Fairfield, California.
Sandra has provided leadership on renovation projects for
clients including California Healthcare West, Sutter Health, Kaiser Permanente,
St. Joseph’s Healthcare System and the Veterans Administration. She has had intensive hands-on experience
with the California Office of Healthcare and Planning (OSHPD), the agency of
jurisdiction in healthcare design and construction.
While raising a family she completed an Associate in
Science degree in Architecture from City College, San Francisco, and masters
coursework in marketing, project management, communications, practice
management and leadership from Advanced Management Institute.
