RATCLIFF Announces Principal Steinberg Appointed to Emeryville Planning Commission - June 17, 2010

RATCLIFF is pleased to announce that Steven Steinberg was appointed to the Emeryville Planning Commission on June 15th. The award-winning firm (http://www.ratcliffarch.com) provides a broad array of architectural, interior design and planning services to healthcare, academic and civic clients throughout the Western United States.

A resident of Emeryville, Steinberg was appointed for a three-year term. He previously served as the Chair of the Planning Commission in Scottsdale, Arizona. Steinberg is the principal of RATCLIFF’s healthcare practice area. His first Emeryville Planning Commission meeting will be July 22, 2010.

“It's important for architects to safeguard their communities and legacies for future generations through community involvement. I've always dedicated a portion of my time to preserving neighborhoods through volunteer work, specifically at the Planning Commission level,” said Steinberg. “This involvement will enable me to use my architectural training, sensitivity toward building a sustainable community and my personal focus on the enhanced pedestrian and family oriented amenities that Emeryville is imbued with. Together, we can make a difference and take our communities to the next level.”
