/ Kaiser Petaluma Medical Office Building

This project, developed in response to the membership growth in Sonoma County, culminated into an expanded 11.2 acre campus featuring the addition of a 54,000 s.f. medical group office building. The two-story structure accommodates 33-providers and houses Behavioral Medicine, Medical/Surgical Specialties, Obstetrics/GYN, Optometry/ Ophthalmology, and Occupational Medicine. A three-room Outpatient Procedure Center, Physical Therapy and Radiology were also included in this campus expansion.

The brick veneer concrete tilt-up construction system harmonizes with existing architectural vocabulary in the community, while at the same time meeting stringent construction budget constraints. The design-assist project delivery process allowed for a collaborative solution to the budgetary challenges surrounding the addition of the new facility and the need for a central plant expansion. The new design establishes a series of entries within this medical campus, with particular attention to outdoor spaces and integration within the context of the site.
