Our primary practice areas of academic, healthcare and civic architecture present significant opportunities for a sustainable architecture that is driven not only by place based questions of purpose, design and technology, but by deeper issues of our enhanced contribution to society.

The academic practice is well-recognized as a regional leader in the master planning and design of K-12 and higher education environments in the private and public arenas, as well as various types of civic work including community centers, courthouses and faith-based projects.  The practice is seeking a Project Manager to lead and orchestrate design, production and client relationships.  The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, well-organized, with strong communication skills and follow through.

Qualifications

  • 7-12 years’ professional experience in technical production of architectural projects.
  • Division of State Architect (DSA) experience preferred for higher education.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
  • Working knowledge of California Building Codes and ADA.
  • California license or significant progress toward.
  • Desire and interest in presenting at interviews or professional organization conferences.
  • Works well in a collaborative/integrated environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and exceptional graphic abilities using Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Adobe CS, BlueBeam Revu and all Microsoft programs.
  • Legal U.S. work status.
