Ratcliff and Bauhuas LLC have partnered to provide a prototype for a prefabricated structure that can be operationally customized and duplicated at scale. For organizations that need speed to market and a universal infrastructure, this design is part of a suite of products aimed at bringing health and wellness into communities that need it the most. The main 12’x 60’ duplicated chassis can be used for outpatient clinics, high-risk contagious disease evaluation and treatment centers, or transitional housing with modifications. The form and massing are created from a kit of parts that include curtainwall, rainscreen, punched openings, and a palate of sustainable materials that de-institutionalize the look and feel of typical healthcare buildings. Designed to fit into a neighborhood scale, the prototype can go up to 4 stories with Type V construction.
