Ratcliff completed tenant improvements via Design Build delivery to an existing building that is part of an office park built in 1986. The program includes primary care exam space, telemedicine, a Covid specialty clinic, imaging, lab, treatment spaces and support. Design features include Stanford Health Care brand elements.
Using translucent glazing at the “ends” of the pods between waiting and exam/work areas allows for borrowed daylight into the work areas and gives a sense of expanded space. Physical distancing and barriers for protection of staff and patients were incorporated into the design which began at the onset of the pandemic. Off stage team areas provide a collaborative workspace for provider and support staff and allow for natural daylight and access to exam rooms.
