Ratcliff has recently completed a long-term master plan to expand and strengthen existing programs for this private high school situated on a densely wooded canyon site. Now in the first phase of implementation, Ratcliff is designing a nine classroom building with faculty offices for the World Languages department. Also included will be the relocation of an existing classroom building, improvements to the entry, arrival, and parking sequence.Future phases will include a new five classroom building for the English Department, a new 350-seat Performing Arts Center, and enhancement of outdoor spaces throughout campus. The first project is slated to break ground in June of 2009.Expanding beyond the traditional scope of facilities analysis, Ratcliff worked with the school to develop a campus sustainability master plan that identified strategies and an implementation process to reduce environmental impacts from campus-wide operations with the goal of creating and maintaining high-performance sustainable learning environments.
