Ratcliff and Notre Dame High School worked together to create a phased master plan that utilizes existing shelled space to support their pedagogical needs of problem solving, technology, and biological research on campus.

The robust program will transform the second floor of the school highlighting three specialized spaces. The Innovation Lab was designed with flexibility and floor to ceiling technology supporting student projects and problem solving. The Center for Ethics and Technology is planned with collaborative areas to align with one of the school’s core principles of bridging innovation with responsibility and sustainability. The Biology Lab provides a setting for scientific exploration with sinks, gas hookups, and infrastructure to support cell and tissue culture and other advanced biology experiments.

Each space has been thoughtfully considered with curriculum storage and utilities that line the perimeter of the rooms. Careful attention was paid to the placement of lights, playful color choices in furniture, and durable materials.
